Meet our Principal
Our Founding Principal, Michelle Scott, joined Downe House Muscat directly from her role as Deputy Head at Downe House UK. Mrs Scott began her career at Downe House UK more than 23 years ago in the classroom, as an English and Drama teacher. The last 11 years of her Downe House UK career were spent serving on the Leadership Team.

Downe House UK was founded in 1907 by Olive Willis in the former house of Charles Darwin, the famous British biologist. Located within one hour of London, it has grown to be widely recognised as one of the top girls’ schools in the world.
