Downe House Muscat is delighted to celebrate the excellent achievements of its students in the 2025/2026 academic year, as they reach significant milestones across both A Level and GCSE examinations and prepare to embark on the next stage of their educational journeys.

This year’s A Level cohort achieved encouraging results, with 100% of grades awarded at A*–C, 80% at A*–B and 60% at A*–A. Among the cohort’s achievements, Aleena Farhan achieved A*AB and will go on to study Accounting at the University of Nottingham, and Khadija Ali achieved A*A*AA and is planning to study Medicine in Australia.

Students also celebrated impressive GCSE achievements, with a 96% overall pass rate and 100% of students successfully progressing to Sixth Form study. Alongside these strong academic outcomes, students demonstrated excellent progress, with outcomes in English and Arabic averaging at least one grade higher from their individual starting points, and Mathematics at least half a grade higher from individual starting points.

The school is especially proud of the outstanding achievements of its EAL students, with 100% of girls achieving the top A* grade in their English as an Additional Language IGCSE. These achievements reflect the ambition, determination and hard work of Downe House Muscat students, together with the personalised support and encouragement that enables every student to fulfil her potential and pursue her individual ambitions.
