The School is designed by award-winning architects, where state of the art buildings and facilities have been purpose built to deliver outstanding education. The facilities are the best of any girls’ school in Oman and the wider region – they include a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) centre, a 450 seat theatre and a sports academy.

Outstanding education delivered through an extended day

Whilst many schools in Oman finish at 1:30pm, Downe House Muscat has an extended school day. This longer day ensures that every girl has the opportunity to discover interests and talents beyond the classroom, helping them to build character, team-working skills and self-confidence.
